Representatives of national media and civil society organisations have taken part in a two-day regional forum on Media Freedom and Democratic Governance held at the Asante Hall, Alisa Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) and the Media Reform Coordinating Group (MRCG) with funding support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana organised a National Forum on Safety of Journalists in Sierra Leone on the 22nd April 2021 at Sierra Palms Resort, Lumley Beach Road, Freetown.

In a program held at SLAJ’s headquarters on 3rd May 2021 in celebrating #World #Press #Freedom day, the MRCG joined SLAJ to commemorate world press freedom day; a day set aside for the recognition of journalism across the word.

In an effort to revitalize Transitional Justice (TJ) knowledge in the minds of young people in the Northern Region of Sierra Leone, Advocacy for Human Right and Justice-Sierra Leone (ADHRJUST-S/L), supported by the African Transitional Justice Legacy Fund (ATJLF) has established a Transitional Justice Clinic for students at the Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology (EBKUST).
